My students concentrate on developing technique, theory and musicality in their playing through exercises, play along cds and improvisation.

   

Students learn how to develop bass lines and improvise solos based on the jazz repertoire in all of its diversity, past and present.

I am also available for private coaching of musicians on all instruments and band rehearsals.

Pianists and guitarists, I will play with you as we work on your music.

Flexible scheduling, weekly and bi-weekly lessons. 

I’m also available for video lessons through Skype or iChat.

I am currently working privately with students from New Trier HS, Highland Park HS, Glenbrook North HS, Washburne MS, Northwestern University, and adults, beginner to pro.  Music is more rewarding and fun with a little guidance!
